Jeff Brown - Shrug Sound Studio - Nashville, TN

The NUDE FET47 doing what it does best.
Jeff Brown of Shrug Sound Studio, Nashville, TN puts it to work showing why this mic is such a weapon on bass-heavy sources. Jeff notes that the NUDE FET47 is at the core of his kick drum sound, sitting just in front of the kick, paired with a dynamic at the sound hole. For bass sources, this mic really does the heavy lifting while still bringing detail and character across the kit and beyond - Big Tone, serious versatility!

Johnny Manchild – Producer/Audio Engineer – Wastedspacestudio, Oklahoma USA

"...Beautiful microphone. Super low self noise, awesome low end, and smooth highs. This thing is a hefty boy. Nude Microphones recreated the FET U47, and now I get to make some pretty sounds with it. Might be my new favourite for upright bass....Also, used the 47 for a vocal during a live vocal acoustic guitar tracking, and it was wonderful for that as well...It seems to love big low end sources – very cool choice for kick drum..."

Sean van Doornum – Composer/Producer/Engineer – Rice & Beans Records, Sydney Australia

"...Beautiful microphone. Loving our NUDE Fet47..."
